Cordney “MAC Woods” McClain has an extensive professional resume from Army Veteran, curriculum developer, youth professional development coach, and a decade of multi-million-dollar aerospace negotiations and corporate finance proposal management. A lover of words, known as “MAC Woods” in artistic spaces, his passions have decorated him nationally nominated and iTunes charted at Number 1 in Spoken Word recorded music (August 2023). A trained actor as well, he has a multitude of film and commercial credits which has earned him a Heartland Emmy Award (2023). Cordney has branded himself as a “MAN ARTICULATING CHANGE” while utilizing his gift of gab and pen to inspire self-love, self-actualization, and goal execution.
Between his professional resume and passions, at the heart of it all is advocacy for the marginalized while utilizing his expertise in contract curriculum development and financial literacy to uplift underserved youth.
Moving to by the mantra of “we are not our environments but of it”, through his independent incubator programs, he instills the values of self-love, goal execution, and financial empowerment. Working with such Oklahoma City organizations as the STAAR Foundation, 100 Black Men of Tulsa, LEGO and The Dad Gang, his unique approach is a blend of mentorship, artistic expression, and innovative thinking, ensuring that his impact extends deep into the roots of the communities he serves. As a Partnerships Strategist, Inclusion Expert, and National Event Coordinator, he desires collaboration and unity, access to resources, safety and well-being, and cultural enrichment for his community that will enable it to rise above its circumstances, embrace change, and create lasting change that resonates for generations to come.
